SUS Project는 스테인리스 스틸의 표기 약어인 SUS를 재조합하여 프로젝트의 기획 의도를 담았다. SUS Project는 금속을 가공하는 일반적인 공정이아닌 다른 소재의 가공법을 응용한다. 이를 바탕으로 금속을 바라보는 다양한 시각을 통해 우리 일상의 사물들을 새롭게 제안한다. 이를 우리는 SUS : Suggest Unexpected Sight 의 의미로 재정의 하였다. SUS project는 한 해 동안 월간 프로젝트로 진행되며, 총 12개의 사물들을 전개해나간다.

SUS Project contains design plans based on using SUS, which stands for Steel Use Stainless. In this project we are not going through general fabrication process of steel, instead applying methods of different object matter. On that basis, We suggest new objects in our daily lives through a wide range of perspectives on stainless steel. We redefined SUS as Suggest Unexpected Sight. SUS Project will be carried out as a monthly basis through the year, and present 12 objects.

공간지훈의 많은 프로젝트에서 사용된 스테인리스를 시작으로 알루미늄, 황동, 합금 등 다양한 금속으로 재료들을 확장시킨다. SUS Project의 목적은 이와 같은 소재를 다루며 지금까지 발견하지 못했던 또 다른 가능성과 확장성에 대한 연구이자 향후 공간지훈이 남길 발자취의 초석을 다지는 데 있다.

Starting with Stainless Steel, which used in many of GGJH Projects, the material of object will be expending to variouse steel material such as Alminum, Brass, Alloy and more. The main purpose of this SUS Project is to study new possibilities and scalability that have not been discovered yet in stainless steel, also to lay the foundation for future footprints by GGJH.
